After undergoing the mourning for two years Shah Jahan decided to immortalize her memories in the form of a monument. Finally, after the efforts of 20,000 workers Taj Mahal was turned from a dream into a reality,

On the left of the taj is the "Masjid" built with red sandstones. Prayer is done here and on the right side of the taj is "naqqar khaana"or the rest house.
